Getting up and running with Flowstep takes only a few minutes. You sign up for free, describe what you want to build, and Flowstep generates your design immediately. From there you can refine it through follow-up prompts, invite your team to collaborate, and share the result with stakeholders — no design tools or prior experience needed.Documentation Index

Create your free account
Go to flowstep.ai and sign up. No credit card is required to get started. Once your account is created, you land directly in the Flowstep editor.
Describe the screen you want
Type a prompt in plain English describing the UI you have in mind. Be specific about the purpose of the screen and any key elements it should include.A prompt like “Dashboard for a project management app with a task list, progress bars, and a sidebar navigation” gives Flowstep enough context to produce a focused, useful design.
Generate your screens
Submit your prompt and Flowstep generates your design in seconds. You can generate multiple screens in a single session to explore different directions or build out a full user flow.
Refine through conversation
Not quite right? Type a follow-up prompt to adjust the design — change the color scheme, rearrange elements, swap out content, or request a different layout entirely. You can also edit elements manually without leaving the browser.
Export or share your work
When you’re happy with the result, choose how to share it:
- Download the screen as a JPG or PNG file
- Copy to Figma using the keyboard shortcut to paste directly into an existing Figma file
- Share a link with teammates or stakeholders — they can view the design without creating an account
You can invite your team to collaborate on a Flowstep file. They can join and start contributing within minutes.
