Flowstep is free to start — you can sign up and begin generating designs without entering any payment details. When you’re ready to unlock more capacity, paid plans are available with both monthly and annual billing options.

Free trial

Every new account starts with a free trial — no credit card required. The trial unlocks paid features such as exports, so you can evaluate Flowstep properly before choosing a plan. The trial lasts three days and includes a set number of messages. It ends when the three days are up or when you’ve used your trial messages, whichever comes first — after that, your account moves to the Free plan automatically. If you use up your trial messages early, AI generation pauses and your account moves to the Free plan the next day.

Flowstep offers a free tier and multiple paid plans:
  • Free — keep creating after your trial with daily and monthly message limits. Exporting to Figma, code, or image files requires a paid plan (or the trial).
  • Starter — for individuals who want more messages and full export options.
  • Pro — for professionals who need higher usage limits.
  • Max — the highest usage limits, for power users and teams that ship fast.
  • Enterprise — need more? Contact us to talk about an Enterprise arrangement.
All prices are shown in USD. Paid plans are billed per seat — each Owner, Admin, and Member in your organization uses one seat, and every seat gets the plan’s full message allowance. See Seats.
  • Monthly billing — pay month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
  • Annual billing — pay once per year and save up to 20% compared to monthly pricing.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to sign up? No. You can create a free account and start using Flowstep without providing any payment information. What happens when my trial ends? Your account moves to the Free plan automatically. Your work stays yours, and you can keep creating within the Free plan’s message limits — or upgrade to keep full access. What currency are prices shown in? All prices are displayed in USD. How does billing work for teams? Paid plans are priced per seat per month. Guests — people you share designs with for viewing — are free; only Owners, Admins, and Members use seats. Only the organization’s Owner can upgrade or manage the subscription. See Seats. Can I switch between monthly and annual billing? Yes. You choose monthly or annual when you subscribe, and on a paid plan the Owner can manage the subscription — including the billing period — from Settings → Plan & Billing.
